Sales Manager, Aerospace & HAV-Sentry

With 30 years in industry, Scott Howard leads Exactaform's aerospace sales and its HAV-Sentry offering. A former military engineer turned technical sales specialist, he spent nearly three decades helping some of UK manufacturing's biggest names solve the problems others couldn't, and brings that same dedication to aerospace customers at Exactaform.

Experience

Scott joined Exactaform in technical sales and has since grown into Sales Manager for aerospace, with the addition of HAV-Sentry. Field-based, he works closely with customers to solve the kind of problems that take time and dedication rather than quick fixes.

Background and career

Scott followed his father into the trade and moved into sales after leaving the military, spending nearly 28 years at Atlas Copco (1996 to 2024). He holds O levels in English, Maths and Physics, several engineering City & Guilds qualifications from his military service, and a professional certificate in Sales Management from the Open University.

Areas of expertise

Aerospace technical sales, hand-arm vibration and HAV-Sentry, and the patient, long-haul problem-solving that wins and keeps blue-chip accounts. Scott works most closely with aerospace, automotive and off-road vehicle customers.

Notable work

Scott was a key part in his previous employer becoming a preferred partner to major UK manufacturers including Airbus, Caterpillar, Komatsu, JLR, AESC, Siemens, Moog Aerospace and JCB. He also delivers online training and product launches to global partners, and is a committed mentor to young people entering the industry.
